Visiting the Perito Moreno Glacier El Calafate, Argentina

I’m a software developer and former designer at Coda.

Previously, I was at Flipboard, where I led the Flipboard Pages platform.

Before joining Flipboard, I was the co-founder and CTO of Treesaver, where we created Treesaver.js, a JavaScript framework for creating magazine-style layouts using standards-compliant HTML and CSS.

Earlier, I was a consultant specializing in user interface design and development for clients like Yahoo!, Bloomberg LP, BigThink, Cargill, the John Templeton Foundation, the Seattle Post-Intelligencer, Forbes Magazine, and several early-stage startups. Years ago, I worked for Microsoft on the Windows Presentation Foundation team, where I was the Program Manager for the text and document layout portions of the platform.

I graduated from Carnegie Mellon University with a Master’s Degree in Human-Computer Interaction and a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science.

I was born in Luanda, Angola, but now I live in Sarasota, Florida.
