I’m currently working on a new project that I’m not quite ready to talk about yet.

Previously, I was at Flipboard, where I led the Flipboard Pages platform.

Before joining Flipboard, I was the co-founder and CTO of Treesaver, where we created Treesaver.js, a JavaScript framework for creating magazine-style layouts using standards-compliant HTML and CSS.

I also worked as an independent consultant specializing in user interface design and development. My clients included Yahoo!, Bloomberg LP, BigThink, Cargill, the John Templeton Foundation, the Seattle Post-Intelligencer, Forbes Magazine, and several early-stage startups. Years ago, I worked for Microsoft on the Windows Presentation Foundation team, where I was the Program Manager for the text and document layout portions of the platform.

I graduated from Carnegie Mellon University with a Master’s Degree in Human-Computer Interaction and a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science.

I was born in Luanda, Angola.
