I’m a software engineer at Figma, working on cool AI stuff I can’t talk about yet.
Before that, I was part of the founding team at Coda, where I spent over a decade building the product from git init into something people actually use every day (acquired by Grammarly in 2025).
In previous lives, I led the publishing platform at Flipboard, created Treesaver (an HTML5 magazine layout framework that was briefly relevant), and started my career at Microsoft working on WPF and the original New York Times Reader.
I graduated from Carnegie Mellon University with a Master’s in Human-Computer Interaction and a Bachelor’s in Computer Science.
I was born in Luanda, Angola, but now I live in Miami, Florida.
