In the groove
It took a little while, but I feel like I’ve finally hit the groove out here. Work is challenging, friends are entertaining, and the city is inviting. Life ain’t bad.
It’s far too easy to look back and pick and choose moments of your life that were in some way better. Nostalgia inherently overlooks the bad times, rendering such comparisons even more futile.
Appreciate the present.
On that note, no more pseudo-philosophical whining from me for while. Promise.
I’m on tour … look for me in your area.
In Pittsburgh
Don’t get too excited, this isn’t a regular thing quite yet, there are still various technological issues I’m working out.
For the curious, I’ve conducted a few experiments during the last few hours, and Microsoft goggles are in fact worse than CMU googles.
Mad Mex is still the shit. Even if Matt and Neema are lightweights.
In New York
I’m currently in Times Square, staying at a pimp hotel and using random wireless networks to hop on the net. I am a huge nerd.
In Gainesville
In Florida now. It is warm here.
New Motto
Eroticize Intelligence.
Back in town
I have returned to Seattle after almost two weeks on the road. My apartment and car seem to be fine, and the weather is a cool 58 degrees (farewell humidity).
The trip was excellent, I saw lots of friends and family … but I’m pretty burnt out. I’m ready to relax at home. Also, I really need to catch up on work (thrilling, I know).
